Hydro Guard Water Sciences™ model HDG-BH(2) sanitary filter cartridges utilize TriTek Bacteriostatic Filtration Media with antibacterial media to effectively address contaminants of health concern while inhibiting the growth of bacteria on the filter media and reducing scale buildup on equipment.

Hydro Guard™ HDG-BH(2) is simple, quick, and clean. The internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination and offer true sanitary filter cartridge benefits for ease of use and optimal performance. The HDG-BH(2) (also part number HDG-EV9612-50) cartridge reduces Cysts, VOC’s, scale, chlorine taste and odor, and other offensive contaminants that can adversely affect the taste of beverages. The TriTek Filtration Media incorporates antibacterial media for enhanced bacteriostatic performance and provides superior chlorine taste and odor reduction.

The Hydro Guard™ HDG-BH(2) sanitary filter cartridges micro-filter dirt and particles as small as 0.2 micron in size by mechanical filtration technology and are tested to NSF/ANSI 53 standards to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
